History: ChoA was born in the middle of Seoul in a family of 4 (mother, father and an older brother). Both her mother and father worked in the same company but her mother worked part-time.

As a child, ChoA has always been a tom-boy and never enjoyed wearing dresses or playing with dolls; she would much rather go out with the boys and play a rough game of tag or football. Whenever she would go to parties, her mother would feel embarrassed seeing her daughter not take interest in what any of the other girls were doing, so one day during second grade her mother signed her up for ballet and contemporary dance club at her school. When ChoA heard, she cried for hours and didn’t want to start ballet at all, but she knew she had to. Sooner or later after going to the club for a while, she got used it and slowly started to take it more seriously. She found out that she enjoyed performing on stage, whether it be with her colleagues or solo.

She also started to enjoy singing just as much as dancing, and her aunt used to help her to improve more and more. She started joining musicals and started to get more recognition for her singing as much as her dancing

During highschool, ChoA joined many competitions at school or nationally, and after performing for a ballet competition, a woman in a gray suit approached her and offered her to audition for a company. ChoA didn’t really know how respond, but a few days afterwards she went with her older brother to the company, auditioned, and after a few weeks of waiting, she got accepted. Her father wasn’t very sure of letting her go become a trainee, but her mother completely supported her.
